Her Cowboy Dom wasn't a bad story, but it really didn't knock my socks off either. The H/h have been secretly crushing on each other for years but each feels the other is strictly off limits. In the end, I felt this couple spent so much time making themselves emotionally unavailable that the conclusion seemed rushed and detached. I honestly felt like this couple could have just as easily remained apart had other aspects of their lives gone according to the life plans each had at the onset of the book.Product details

Great story!
Josh left his ranch to his sister Jessica but the stock to his best friend Tate. The two of them have been attracted to each other for years but have tried to ignore it. They finally cannot so fight about everything.
I enjoyed these two characters. Jessica is spunky and feisty. She does not back down nor does she let setbacks keep her down. Tate gives as good as he gets. He believes he is not good enough for Jessica. Jessica does not see it that way. I liked how they both thought they knew the other. It offered some humorous moments. What I liked best was when they finally knew they had to throw in the towel for happiness and peace in their lives. Both had to grow up and did. Fun read
"Her Cowboy Dom" uses a trope I've seen often in historical romance-- the "reading of the will", wherein H/h are forced to spend time together to meet the requirements of inheritance. In this modern day story, Jess has been left a large ranch by her deceased older brother and his best friend Tate has been left the stock. The terms of the will require Tate, a rodeo rider, to stick around for thirty days. Neither Jess nor Tate are happy about this. Jess blames Tate for her brother's demise while Tate lusts for Jess but doesn't want to subject her to his dominant ways. This was a very sexy story about two people who have to overcome misunderstanding to find love. I felt for Jess, wanting to assert herself and follow her own dreams and being thwarted by two headstrong men (brother and lover) who just want to "protect" her. Contains BDSM themes. Hot!
